Hey guys, I installed a leveling kit (torsion keys) in my truck a few months ago and it looks awsome. The ride is far from quite tho ? It clunks and bangs on large bumps like crazy. I was told my stock shocks would be fine for this kit, but now Rough Country tells me I should have upgraded, (thanks). Anyone have 8000 series shocks on their truck ? Make any difference in the ride ? I`ve ordered them today and will be installing them as soon as I get them. I just hope this takes care of the ride. Yes its been rough ever since the keys were installed. What do you guys think ?

Hey man, cant comment on the front shocks, but i have rough country`s nitrogen shocks on the rear and they ride just fine, no real difference from stock, maybe better than stock. Oh and not to steal this post, but how long are your westin tube steps?

You did the leveling kit too didnt you. We talked before I think. Yeah I wanna get the 8000 series ( or I did I guess). Supposed to be longer for better ride. Not sure on the lenght of my bars. Im pissed at Westin right now, they wont warranty them. I lost my receipt and now 1 yr later there peeling. You didnt install upgraded shoocks after your kit ?

yea we talked there a few times, yea i didnt have to, i have struts, but yea i would deffinetly get them for your front, i added the rear blocks, and the kit came with the shocks, but that sucks, were your bars chrome or polished stainless?

There chrome. Was thinking about taking them off. Truck looks higher without them. Not sure tho. Sucks I spent a little over $700 for the bars and the mounts.

I have rough country shocks all the way around on mine but mine are the 9000 series. i`m happy with them.

I just found out I did get the 9000 series Nitro shocks (not the 8000). Glad to hear you like them Crystal.
