I bought myself an old semi sleeper to add to the front of my trailer. Progress will be slow since I am finishing my basement right now, but I will post up what I get done once I have the time to work on it. As of now, the interior panels have mostly been stripped out of it along with the headliner. I started painting the door panels with black vinyl and am pretty pleased with how they turned out. I did have a few issues with the die now holding its sheen on the first panel, but putting a coat on them today in the sunlight might have been the trick since they turned out what I was hoping for. Other plans are to wire in some cab lights and to have the interior wired for 110 for when pull into an RV hook up. After researching some builds on Pirate4x4, I would like to add a window AC off the front along with putting in a RV window for some light and ventilation. Depending on how much clearance I have between the bracing and the aluminum skin on the outside, I might add some LED`s turn signals/lights on the back of it for more visibility when cruising down the road. The biggest thing at this point is to get it cleaned up, painted, and fastened to my trailer. I would also be interested in getting a new mattress for it if anyone knows of where to find a good CLEAN one since the one that came with it was nasty. Anyway, here are some pics
The tool box will no longer be on there since all of my spare parts will be stored in the lower compartment.

Thanks. I can`t take credit for thinking about it though. A friend of mine directed me to some threads that are on Pirate4x4 where some guys were doing the same thing, but only a lot more fancy.
Thanks Dan. I would actually need the red LED`s, but muleshemi suggested that I talk to you before I start wiring it to get some idea`s of how to run the extra lights since you would definitely know. I will look you up when I get serious with this and pick your brain.

Thanks. I spent an hour and a half today gutting the rest of the inside. After originally thinking that I was just going to clean it up and paint everything with the vinyl die, I am glad that I gutted it since water has been leaking from some holes that had been filled at one time and mold was in the insulation. I will now be able to wash everything out once I bring it home, start wiring everything like I want to, and then start putting it back together with new insulation and repainted panels. It is more work then I had planned on, but that always seems to happen with me. lol

at least when it`s done you`ll have the satisfaction of not having to worry or wonder about it. it`s alot of work but i`m sure it`ll be worth it when it`s done.

Always happens to me too Shawn, it is one thing I can always count on. Simple jobs never turn out to be simple
