Hey guys! I haven't had much time to get on in a while. I've been taking 18-19 hours of classes every semester. Plus, this site just isn't what it used to be, and I had a lot more time to get on and post a lot when I was in high school. Oh well. Every good thing must come to an end, I guess. 
But I'll try and get on as often as I can. See y'all around!

LOL...David you trying to get Father of the Year...again? Whats sup Arkies?! I haven't been on here in forever in a day. Looks like the Texas Chapter is finally picking up some too.
Took my youngest daughter off to college in San Antonio last week and with the other two away in Waco and Denton, the "empty nest" has become a reality. Any GTG on the horizon?

I think we've depended too much on the initial bond which brought us all together in the first place Tom. This site. Obviously we can't rely on that much any more. Every time I check in here now and thew galleries are still missing, and links don't work, I get disappointed all over again. I used to muster the strength to keep things going in light of short term disasters. I need to take a long hard look into myself and find out why this doesn't seem possible now.

I know why John. We busted our asses to have a great small chapter, lots of G2G's and much fun. I remember how you fought thru the dial up connection and the banishment. Oh let's not forget your chapter reassignment. We continued to thrive thru those perils with more diligence and a great desire to succeed, and succeed we did. When the site started working against us, with all the adds and other distractions, we began to lose our chapter activity. Suddenly, poof, it was gone no warning or time to plan. What had once held us together now pushed us apart. We went our separate ways, some of us met up again on other forums but it was not enough, we were now spread thin through cyberspace. Without the once common bond, I began to lose interest quickly, other sites drew my attention further from forum life. Although there were other forums for us to use, it wasn't the same. DTW was our home, where we started and where we wanted to be. I still love my Hemi and cherish the memories DTW helped to create but the fire has extinguished, not even a warm spot remains. I remember a day when I checked the active topics of DTW before I had my first cup of coffee. I check in maybe once a week now. For me, I don't see any changes coming to pull me back to the forum we loved, there are still popup adds and other things that make DTW undesirable for me. I still wear my chapter shirts with pride, but until there is a vast improvement in DTW forums and activity I will remain MIA.
